The idyllic private island that is The Beach House at Manafaru is located in the Haa Alifu Atoll in the Northern Maldives, surrounded by coral reef lagoons.
From Hanimaadhoo Airport, guests of The Beach House will be whisked away for a 45-minute speedboat ride to the island. The Beach House not only benefits from having some absolutely stunning natural beaches but it also has a wealth of vegetation which is very rare in the Maldives.
Accommodation
Once on land, guests will make their home in one of The Beach House's 68 luxurious villas where they will enjoy full reign of their own private pool, along with the services of a butler who will tend to their every need.
Each villa at The Beach House will offer guests the usual facilities expected in any five-star resort, including high-speed email and internet access, 32" LCD TVs and private butlers, but guests at The Beach House will also receive, as standard, customisable private in-room mini bars, iPod hook up, a private outdoor dining area, an open air en-suite bathroom, private pool and for all land villas and suites, their very own private beach cabana.
Facilities
The Beach House will feature a fully equipped high-tech gymnasium, tennis and badminton courts, beach volleyball, billiards, table tennis, a free form and infinity pool plus a PADI diving centre, where fully qualified instructors will take you out to explore some of the local ship wrecks and nearby dive spots with vibrant coral reefs and marine life.
There will also be some 'toys for boys', including a gentleman's lounge, martial arts lessons and an enormous trampoline with support leads to allow guests to touch the treetops. A range of complimentary non-motorised water sports will also be available for guests and will include kayaks, wind and kite surfing. Catamaran sailing excursions, big game fishing, snorkelling tutorials and guides are all available.

Restaurants and bars
There will be three restaurants at The Beach House. The Four Corners restaurant will be based on land and will primarily be a buffet style dining experience with various themes catered towards the guest's desires, serving a large selection of international meals. The Beach House's international grill, Medium-Rare, will provide a selection of barbequed meats, fish, seafood and vegetables, prepared flamboyantly in full view of the guests. The third restaurant, Saffron, will be an Asian speciality restaurant built over the water, offering a wide range of fusion cuisine from across the East.
Guests who appreciate wine will be pleased to know that The Beach House will have three bars and its own wine cellar on the island, which will be cared for and presented by a world-class sommelier. It will offer guests a selection of the best-known wines from around the world and for the connoisseurs, a selection of rare and vintage wines.
Jungle Style Spa
The Spa at The Beach House will be surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and will feature ten treatment rooms dotted intermittently throughout this dense foliage to create a back-to-nature experience. The resort will have trained therapists and Medical professionals on hand to provide guests with a variety of pampering Thai, Ayurvedic and Swedish treatments. The Spa will also feature a sauna and steam room, along with plunge pools and floral baths to create a truly indulgent environment for guests.
