Michael Keech and Graham Green formed KEECH GREEN in 2002. This partnership has produced stunning interiors around the world, and ‘modern deco’ – a new style for the post-minimalist era.
Michael and Graham met whilst working for Ralph Lauren, where they learned their appreciation of architectural interior and furniture design. During this time they designed many pieces of furniture for use within the stores throughout Europe.
Michael was ultimately appointed creative director for European flagship stores and managed a huge team in the key stores throughout Europe, while Graham’s responsibilities were related to the visual and business development of the wholesale home and apparel business in Europe. They stayed with Ralph Lauren for 16 years before leaving to form KEECH GREEN.
KEECH GREEN now specialise in high end domestic interior remodelling and refurbishment. They work primarily in London but also have ongoing projects in New York, Moscow and Monte Carlo. These include a super yacht for a private client, penthouses, luxury property developments, a large conversion of a hotel into a residential mansion in Italy and future projects planned for Dubai and Geneva.
Their style is masculine yet glamorous, and can best be described as an aspiration for the clean lines of modernist architecture combined with the opulance of art deco. By combining these elements, they have formed a style referred to as ‘modern deco’ which has been developed for a client base that is no longer comfortable with minimalist living but does not aspire to classic styling either.
KEECH GREEN has a small but highly competent team of eight personnel in Chelsea Harbour from which they manage the production of all design and initial concept drawings in house. With this team comes an army of extremely competent and reliable tradesmen, furniture makers and specialist suppliers.
