My earliest travel memories
I travelled back and forth from London to LA and New York quite
a lot as a child. In fact, although I was born in London my
parents moved us all to LA when I was a baby. I have vivid memories
of Malibu when it was just shacks along the beach with wild
horses running along the sand. I also have very clear memories
of driving around in my aunties VW camper van all over
Cornwall. I still remember the itchy wool blankets we had to
sleep in as we would camp at my uncles infamous elephant
fair in the 1980s.
My earliest travel companions
I have five siblings so along with our parents and my dad's
business partner Denny Cordell and his family, we were quite
a big gang. Cordell and my dad owned a roller disco together
in the 1980s in LA called Flippers, so both families grew up
together in an extended, bohemian kind of a way.
More recently, my travels have taken me to...
London, Paris, Milan, New York, and Mexico, though I live in
LA. I also visited Cabo in Mexico with my husband and stayed
at the One & Only, Palmilla.
My next destination
I will be flying to London in the next few weeks. My favourite
secret holiday destination Paradise Cove in Malibu where I have
a beach cottage. It's my favourite place in the world.
My favourite city for food and shopping is
New York or London I love them both. I cant travel
without
My iPod, a big cashmere scarf, a good book, plenty
of water and a great moisturising cream.
My favourite travel companion is
My husband Rupert, but I also really enjoy travelling alone.
I have two small children so on long-haul flights, when I get
the chance, I love kicking back and indulging in as many movies
as possible, and enjoying long naps.
Right now, I am
Getting ready for Christmas! I will then be coming to London
early next year with my family while my husband makes a movie.
